From Whence We Came: Going Back Underground

With the closing of our beloved Eclipse Records the ease of hosting efficient, reliable, and quality all-ages shows that we have enjoyed the last few years comes to a sudden and disparaging halt. But fear not. TCSP emerged from the covert, illegal sauna of the Inferno, far from the interference of petty entities like, you know, the law. And TCSP will bull forward, hosting shows the Old School way at secret spaces and sweaty basements. But be warned, from here on out many addresses will be unavailable in public forum. This means no directions on fliers and none online. If you want to be in the know it is high time you sign up for the forums and get to know the folks around here, because everything is going back underground. And you gotta get in to fit in.

A Cinderella Story: TCSP's "Hurricane" fights his way onto national TV.

Bellator Fighting Championships' upcoming Season 3 Bantamweight Tournament continued to take shape today with the addition of 14-2 fan favorite Travis "The Hurricane" Reddinger.

The 28-year-old Pittsburgh native and St. Paul, Minn., transplant - who enters the tournament in the midst of a four-fight win streak - is known for his power, relentless approach and the oversized "BELLATOR" tattoo etched across his torso.

Reddinger says he got the tattoo about 4 ½ years ago, long before Bellator Fighting Championships exploded onto the MMA scene.

"For me it just symbolizes perseverance and the never-say-die mentality that I strive for," he said. "I know that Bellator stands for the warrior mentality as well, so it's a great honor for me to be a part of the organization. The tournament concept suits me really well and I love the exposure of being on national TV. It's all pretty surreal still. I don't think the gravity of it all has really hit me yet."

Reddinger is the fourth confirmed participant in the Bantamweight Tournament along with Kansas City brawler Danny Tims, Las Vegas-based BJJ brown belt Ulysses Gomez and fast-rising Wyoming native Nik Mamalis, who gained entry into the tournament with two stunning wins during Bellator Season 2.

Reddinger Retains. Reporter Rallies for Refund.

It took all of twenty-five, maybe thirty seconds of action for TCSP's own Travis "The Hurricane" Reddinger to drag his opponent to the mat and end the fight via strikes to the head. Luckily, we made it just in time. Had I stopped to, say, piss or blink, we'd have missed our man in action. Regarded as the #1 fighter 145lbs. and under in the state, "Hurricane Inc." is running a monopoly.

#1 ranked Travis "The Hurricane" Reddinger returns to the cage April 23rd.

In Defence video. Sweeeeeeet.

To think it's only been 8 years since I last played a live show. And from that era we have virtually no video, no competent photography, nothing to revisit as wizened remnants of a bygone era of punk rock. And here we are, a mere 8 years later, and the kids are cranking out kick ass shit like this video. The Past, I hate you.
