Congratulations to the Foxes!

I mean, if getting married is what you're into. May your love last MUCH longer than our bands usually do! But not to worry. After all, we're Minnesotans. If it's one thing we do, it's endure.

New In Defence album is really, really, really awesome.

So I finally got around to giving the entire new In Defence full length "Into the Sewer" a listen and by gawd, that shit is, as the kids are saying these days, crucial. If I were to discuss the album's high points it'd look like a heart monitor on fast forward, which is exactly what it does to your body. Pumps that shit up!

"Without much effort."

Now down to a girlish 140 lbs. Travis "The Hurricane" Reddinger, pride of the TCSP, the St. Paul storm front, dispensed of Saturday's game opponent, "Without much effort," according to spectators at the Myth. This improves Reddinger's MMA record to something like a dozen-1-1, having suffered a cut in his last North Dakota bout that resulted in a disqualification. But fear not, the always infuriatingly brash Hurricane plans on returning to the cage soon. Maybe this time they'll find a challenger who can last more than one round with this force of nature.

Virgin Whores full length out now!

From the band’s very name forward, The Virgin Whores hearken back to a time when punk rock was a lean machine, an innocent, self declared adversary to all things boring and a hungry celebration of all things sinful. In an era where “punk” has come to mean many things, worst of all bands with six word mega-names who release over produced, over written, over conceptualized art rock with overdone haircuts, indecipherable screaming vocals paired with lame duck operatic dirges, and predictable song structures, the Virgin Whores spare no time second guessing the basic tenant of punk.
